Family Vacation Time!

Landlocked Surfers Association (LSA) has been working with various organizations and schools to share our love of the beach and surfing with more people than ever. Membership in LSA is FREE and adds you to our ever-growing family! Because of demands on time and finance, many recently reunited families are unable to enjoy beach vacations. We feel that everyone should have the opportunity to come out and see why we love the beach and surfing so much. This year we will be extending an invitation to Augusta area families, recently reunited to join us completely FREE for a week of fun in the sun.

We will all meet at the beach (location to be determined) for a week of games, activities, camaraderie, and SURFING!!! Never surfed? No problem! Surf lessons will be given all week by LSA administrators, surf camp instructors, and even professional surfers from around the globe! Surfboards will be provided for the week by Psycho Surfer Surfboards and Landlocked Surfer Magazine.

This fun week of surf will be provided to families through Kids Restart, an organization that works with children and their families to help them learn the skills needed to provide the best possible environment for the children. Kids Restart helps parents learn the skills many take for granted, in order to better care for the children they unquestionably love. Kids Restart plays a vital role in the community by providing parenting classes, supervised visitation, and even transportation for these families as they work toward reuniting children with parents.

The LSA Family Vacation will occur at the culmination of our fund raiser. We have set lofty goals for ourselves, and know that with the help of each of our LSA members and friends they can be reached!

In order for us to raise money for Kids Restart, and host this beach vacation, we need your help. We are looking for individuals, school clubs, and businesses to help with fund raising and organization to make this year's LSA Family Vacation a huge success. After helping make this happen, you will be invited to join in the fun as part of the LSA family! For those of you who choose to join us and volunteer to help out at the beach, you will be entered to win a custom hand-shaped Psycho Surfer Surfboard! And as if that weren’t enough, the event will be featured in an upcoming issue of Landlocked Surfer Magazine, which enjoys a national readership base of over 58,000!
