Welcome to Landlocked Surfers Association! We are a rapidly growing group of people from all around the country with a shared love of the beach and surfing. We formed in 2005 as a small group of friends with these shared interests, but found ourselves landlocked. In the short time since, we have grown in numbers by the thousands, but pride ourselves in our close contact and "grass roots" approach with our fellow members.

When traveling to new surf spots, we all take a financial gamble that it will be worth the cash. We formed to share information about the best spots to surf, and the best places to buy gear to eliminate the risk of a less than optimal surf trip. With your FREE membership you will enjoy discounts at various surf shops around the globe, have opportunities to participate in group surf trips, and receive Landlocked Surfer Magazine. Landlocked Surfers Association also endorses outstanding surf shops that can be recognized by our sticker in their window and a link on our homepage.

Landlocked Surfer Magazine is the hallmark of Landlocked Surfers Association. It is a full feature, full color magazine showcasing photography from some of the world's most notable surf photographers. Each issue provides information on surf gear, surf spots, travel, health, music, LSA member profiles, and feature articles!

Landlocked Surfers Association organizes trips and events several times each year to provide an opportunity for members to gather at the beach. We are always open to suggestions and strongly encourage involvement from each of our members.

In addition to providing a forum for sharing our love of surfing, we also have a strong sense of civic responsibility. We are consistently working on various community based projects throughout the country. These projects range from assisting with establishing local surf clubs, to large scale community events such as the forth-coming "Family Vacation."
